Since 1993, he is working as a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology (SLIET), Longowal, Punjab, India, at different positions.Currently he is an Associate Professor in the same department. SLIET is an autonomous institution of the Govt. of India, and recognized as a university by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredit the department of Mechanical Engineering.
2011 – 2013
He was a visiting researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Gaithersburg, USA.
